Tours of Green Gables are available every Saturday from 10am - 2pm. Please join us for a step back in time where you can experience the hospitality of life in early Melbourne. Green Gables is a living history museum which means that many of our exhibits can be interactive.
Enjoy our beautiful grounds located on the Indian River and our nature preserve.
Reservations are not necessary.
Cost is $10 per person.

Green Gables will again participate with the Museums of Brevard as one of the beautifully decorated Victorian Homes.

Rain Barrel Workshop - Jan. 17th - 11:00AM
Limited quantity of Barrels available. Register to receive your Rain Barrel. The cost of a Rain Barrel is normally $65. When you register you will receive an automatic discount of $15. Additionally, if you are a resident of Melbourne you may participate in the City of Melbourne's Rain Barrel Rebate Program and receive a $25 rebate. Your Rain Barrel will end up costing you only $25. If you live outside Melbourne city limits, check with your municipality to see if they offer a rain barrel rebate.
During the workshop you will learn the benefits of using a Rain Barrel. Learn how to Install, Use and Maintain a Rain Barrel. Your Rain Barrel will go home with you after the workshop.
The workshop size is limited, and advanced registration is required.

ECAC – Education & Citizenship Armed Forces Coalition of the Space Coast - Green Gables is a proud member of the ECAC education program. The first task is to encourage students to visit MUSEUMS and to Provide Historical Civic Foundations for Brevard Students.
Task 2 is to Enhance Collaboration of VETERAN-RELATED & CIVIC-MINDED Organizations to Provide Opportunities such as Scholarships, Competitions, & Recognition Awards throughout the Space Coast.
Task 3 is to Facilitate the Education & Development of Brevard Students across the STEM Enterprise.
Green Gables will be joining with other Museums of Brevard in offering a Passport Program for students grades K through high school in Brevard County. Students will receive an in hand passport that can be stamped at each of the museums that are visited. The School Board offers incentives for completion of different levels, such as visiting 10 of the museums, performing 8 hours of service at a museum and so on. Students with a passport will be admitted for a tour with one parent free of charge. Other guests are asked to pay the standard $10 tour fee.
On June 12, 2023 the transfer of ownership to Green Gables was completed
