Saturday from 10am - 2pm. However last tour begins at 1:30.
Please join us for a step back in time where you can experience the hospitality of life in early Melbourne. Green Gables is a living history museum which means that many of our exhibits can be interactive.
Enjoy our beautiful grounds located on the Indian River and our nature preserve.

"Not so Scary" community fund raiser.
It will be held on one night only.
Friday, October 30th
5PM - 9PM
It is a pirate themed experience.
Please come dressed in your favorite Halloween Costume and enjoy interacting with our Pirate Crew.

Fresh holiday evergreens are the perfect way to bring holiday cheer to you, your business or family and friends. Long lasting wreaths that you will enjoy throughout the holiday season. The greens are harvested by trimming the boughs of trees in the Cascade Mountains in the State of Washington ensuring their natural woodsy scent.
All greenery (wreaths, centerpieces, or garland) will be delivered to Green Gables the week after Thanksgiving. You will be contacted with a date and time to pick up your items.
Orders may be placed between September 1 and November 10. Payment will occur at time of order placement.
All proceeds go directly to the restoration of Green Gables.

All direct delivery items are shipped individually and start arriving the week of Thanksgiving. Arrival is guaranteed no later than 2 weeks after Thanksgiving Day.

Please join us for our annual
old-fashioned Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
at Green Gables on Monday, November 30th from 6-8PM.
This is a free family event to bring the Christmas spirit alive with the lighting of our tree and celebrating together with our own Green Gables family.
Enjoy refreshments of cookies and hot cocoa.
Join in singing Christmas Carols.
And of course Santa will be there to listen to the hopes of all of the children.
Parking is available on our grounds, and if possible, bring extra chairs.

Green Gables invites you to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus on
Sunday, December 6th
from 1-4pm.
Reservations are required. “Pictures with Santa”
includes:
- a sitting
- one print in a Christmas frame
- digital photos emailed to you
- a visit with Mrs. Claus
- cocoa and cookies
- a Christmas Craft
- and a candy cane
In addition, you may take your own photos as well.
A special North Pole Mailbox is available for "children's letters to Santa" where he will answer them all.
Cost is $15 per child
$5 for each additional child

Rain Barrel Workshops Will Resume This January
The City of Melbourne has partnered with Green Gables to host rain barrel workshops. Participants will receive a free rain barrel at the workshop, will learn the benefits of using a rain barrel, and will learn how to install and use a rain barrel.
The workshops will be held outdoors. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
Class size is limited, and advanced registration is required.
