Masquerade Gala Event February 28th

Psychic Medium Jeffrey Wands will "read" the audience Gallery style and hold a question and answer session. 

In addition, he is a radio host and author and his books will be available for purchase, both before and during the performance. 

In the past this event has always sold out. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door, if available.  Refreshments will be served during the brief intermission.  

All proceeds benefit Green Gables at Historic Riverview Village, Inc., a nonprofit Living History Museum, an Education Center and a place for Community engagement, located  in Melbourne, FL. 

This event will be held at the 

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge located at  1049 Julia Drive, Melbourne, FL. 

The City of Melbourne has partnered with Green Gables to host rain barrel workshops. 

Participants will receive a free rain barrel at the workshop, will learn the benefits of using a rain barrel, and will learn how to install and use a rain barrel.

The first workshop will be held Saturday, 

February 9th 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

The workshop will be held outdoors. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Class size is limited, and advanced registration is required.

Residents of the City of Melbourne can participate in the Rain Barrel Rebate Program to receive a $25 rebate on their utility bills when proof of installation is submitted. 

Rebates are limited and will be issued on a first-come, 

first-served basis.

Take A Musical Journey Through Florida

This presentation takes audiences on a historical journey through the state of Florida, featuring performances of songs covering a wealth of historical events, characters, and folklore with in-depth storytelling about: 

Ponce de Leon’s voyage to Florida in 1513, 

Henry Flagler’s building of the Florida East Coast Railway, Florida’s unique Ecosystems, and more. 

Original songs come from Chris Kahl’s 

Florida Themed albums 

Orange Blossom Memories and Sunshine Kid.

Tickets at the event $5 for adults

Kids 12 and under free.

This is an outdoor event taking place on the beautiful grounds at Green Gables. 

Please bring chairs as seating is limited.

Historic House tours will also be available from 

3-4pm for $10 per adult (Children free) 

Tours of Green Gables are available every Saturday from 10am - 2pm. Please join us for a step back in time where you can experience the hospitality of life in early Melbourne. Green Gables is a living history museum which means that many of our exhibits can be interactive. 

Enjoy our beautiful grounds located on the Indian River and our nature preserve.

Reservations are not necessary.
