Register today to receive your Rain Barrel. Cost of a rain barrel is normally $65. When you

register you will get an automatic discount of $15. Additionally, if you are a resident of

Melbourne you may participate in the City of Melbourne Rain Barrel Rebate Program and

receive a $25 rebate. Rebates are limited to a first-come, first-served basis. If you live

outside Melbourne city limits, check with your municipality to see if they offer a rain barrel rebate.

During the workshop you will learn the benefits of using a rain barrel. Learn how to install ,

use and maintain a Rain Barrel. 

You will take your rain barrel home with you the day of the workshop.

Workshop size is limited, and advanced registration is required.

The  most magical time of the year is here.  Green Gables is thrilled to  invite you and your family to pictures with Santa at Green Gables.   It  isn’t Christmas without a visit to meet Santa. 

You  will meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and have your photo taken.  

On Sunday  Dec 1st from 12-3pm.  Cost is $15 per child.  For multiple children the  cost is an additional $5 per child and a Family Portrait is $25.   Included in the cost is:

•  the photo sitting 
• a digital photo
• 1  printed photo in a Christmas frame.  
• a visit with Mrs.  Claus
• hot cocoa and cookies 
• a Christmas Craft.  

In addition, you  may take your own digital photos. 

For the fifth year, the Museums of Brevard (MOB) is offering holiday tours of 7 Brevard County historic homes. The tours will be held December 6th-8th and December 13th-15th. 

This year there are two types of tickets. You may buy a ticket and tour three of the homes but not the lighthouse or you may buy a ticket to tour three homes and the lighthouse.  If you choose to visit more than three of the homes you will need to contact that home and pay at the door.  

The tours begin at 10 am and the last tour at 2PM.  

Some of the historic homes require reservations, which can be made directly through the individual home.  We have designed a planning guide to assist in the process of making reservations.  The planning guide will be an attachment  to the email receipt you receive.  It will also contain your ticket and your tax receipt. Be sure to download the planning guide when you receive it.  You will receive your PastPort at the first home you visit, which will be your ticket for the remainder of the tour.  All proceeds from this event will serve as donations to participating museums for historical preservation projects.  

Psychic Medium Jeffrey Wands will "read" the audience Gallery style and hold a question and answer session. 

In addition, he is a radio host and author and his books will be available for purchase, both before and during the performance. 

In the past this event has always sold out. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door, if available.  Refreshments will be served during the brief intermission.  

All proceeds benefit Green Gables at Historic Riverview Village, Inc., a nonprofit Living History Museum, an Education Center and a place for Community engagement, located  in Melbourne, FL.
